Symptoms of Dry Skin

Dry skin can be an acute condition (e.g caused by weather conditions) or a chronic condition (e.g caused by genes).

There are many factors (such as age, health condition, location, outdoor activities, etc) that influence the signs and symptoms of dry skin.

From the characteristics of dry skin discussed in episode one, some of the symptoms of dry skin can be deduced. Without further ado, the signs and symptoms of dry skin are:

1. Itchiness – most people might only experience this symptom

2. Flakes, scales or peels that can range from minor to severe

3. Redness

4. Fine line or cracks, with a skin that feels and looks rough

5. Deep bleeding cracks that can become infected
